10 Celebrities Who Have Adopted Children

Thanksgiving is coming up, and so is the National Adoption Day! As the US collectively put their efforts to create an awareness of children in foster care waiting to find their permanent families, we bring you a list of celebrities who have adopted children. 

1. Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman

Though Cruise and Kidman have split up now, the couple adopted two children, Isabella Jane and Connor Antony, when they were married. 

2. Hugh Jackman

The Wolverine in the X-Men film series, Hugh Jackman adopted two children, Oscar and Ava along with his wife Deborra-Lee Furness, following two miscarriages. 

3. Kristin Davis

The Sex and the City Star, Kristin Davis has two adopted children on her own. She adopted a daughter, Gemma Rose Davis in 2011 and a boy in 2018. 
4. Jamie Lee Kurtis

The established actress Jamie Lee Kurtis, along with her husband Christopher Guest has adopted two children, Annie and Thomas. 

5. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Jolie and her Ex-Husband Pitt have quite a large family, with three children born to them and three others who were adopted.   

6. Sandra Bullock

The actress who made a breakthrough in the movie Speed, adopted her first son in 2010 and a second child, a daughter in 2015 as a single parent. 

7. Diane Keaton

Keaton chose the motherhood at the age of 50, after the demise of her father. She has two adopted children, daughter Dexter and a son Duke. 

8. Madonna

The Queen of Pop who is the biological mother of two, has adopted four kids, David Branda,Mercy James and twins Esther and Stella.

9. Meg Ryan

Meg Ryan, who has a son with her ex-husband Dennis Quaid, has adopted a daughter from China, whom she has named Daisy True. 

10. Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl along with her husband Josh Kelly, adopted a first daughter, Naleigh from South Korea in 2009, and a second daughter, Adalide, from the US in 2012.
