Writing a thank you note indicating you're not intersted in the job after the interview?

I had an interview today. During the interview I honestly didn’t feel it would be a good fit for me and I suspect the interviewers felt the same. I know there are some examples on the internet, but I can’t find example notes that show I am simply no longer interested in the position and so would like to save the interviewers some trouble.
What are some things that should be covered in these types of notes? Thoughts? Suggestions?

There’s no need to follow some arbritary thanks but no thanks that you can find on the internet. A simple note that says:
"Dear Interviewer,
It was a pleasure meeting with you on May 27, 2008 for the ____ position. After careful thought and evaluation, I do not feel this position would be the right for me. I wish you the best in your search. I thank you for your time and interest in me as a candidate.
Best regards,
Jane Doe"
ring up say i’m sorry for wasting your time but i don’t think i want the job but thankyou
Honestly, I would just keep that to yourself until they offer you the job. Otherwise, you truly risk offending them if you put that in a thank you note. Send a regular thank you note (or don’t since you don’t care anyway) and if they call and give you the good news, tell them you’ve already accepted another position but thanks. You’re not really ’saving them trouble’ by letting them know now you don’t want the job.
